Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 25 June 2026 · Effective date: 25 June 2026
DomainDossier is built for domain investors and researchers. This policy describes what we consider fair use of the platform and what may result in account suspension or termination.
1. Permitted uses
You are welcome to use DomainDossier to:
- Research and analyse expired domain names for personal or business investment purposes
- Generate intelligence reports and share or deliver them to clients as part of a domain brokerage or research service
- Use the Branded Report feature to white-label reports under your own business name
- Make informed acquisition decisions based on AI-powered analysis
2. Prohibited uses
You must not use DomainDossier to:
- Share or distribute your licence key. Each key is tied to a single account. Sharing your key with others, posting it publicly, or selling access to your account is prohibited.
- Create multiple free accounts. Registering multiple email addresses to accumulate free points is considered abuse and may result in all associated accounts being terminated.
- Automate or scrape. Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to submit domains in bulk beyond normal human usage patterns is not permitted.
- Reverse-engineer the service. You must not attempt to extract prompts, decompile code, intercept API requests, or replicate our analysis methodology.
- Misrepresent AI output. You must not present DomainDossier valuations as professionally certified appraisals, independent expert opinions, or guaranteed market values to clients or third parties.
- Use the service for unlawful purposes. This includes analysing domains associated with trademark infringement, cybersquatting campaigns, or any activity prohibited by law.
- Attempt to overload or disrupt the service. Deliberately sending requests intended to degrade performance for other users is prohibited.
3. Key sharing and account abuse
We monitor usage patterns to detect key sharing and account abuse. Accounts showing signs of shared access or free-tier exploitation may be suspended without notice.
If you believe your account has been flagged in error, contact us at domaindossier@pm.me and we will review it promptly.
4. Consequences of violation
Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, we may:
- Issue a warning and request you stop the behaviour
- Suspend your account temporarily
- Terminate your account permanently without refund
- Report the activity to relevant authorities where required by law
We will use reasonable judgement and will not terminate accounts over minor or accidental breaches without first making contact.
5. Reporting abuse
If you become aware of someone misusing DomainDossier — including unauthorised sharing of licence keys or scraping — please let us know at domaindossier@pm.me.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Continued use of DomainDossier after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
